Assin South roads receive facelift
Roads in Assin south of the Central Region have received facelift to significantly ease traffic flow, and also to ensure that, feeder roads in the area are in good condition.

The District Chief Executive of Assin South Assembly, Derrick Owusu Ambrose in an interview with ghanadistricts.com, said the Assembly was committed to bridging the gap between rural communities and urban areas to increase productivity.
He said road works have begun from the Assin Fosu Station - Total Two, Barrier to Pomaa Kukuase, Railway Bridge, Dompim Junction - ADB among others to ease traffic flow.
The DCE further said roads with potholes from Nyankomasi Ahinkro to Assin Atonsu had been filled with bitumen.
Apart from that major feeder roads, Assin Adubiase Kwafulkrom-Homaho, Nsuakyir- Homaho, Yaw Boama Kwame Annan roads had all been repaired for easy commuting.
In addition to this, the Assembly is also working hard to supply significant quantities of Street bulbs to light-up the city to ward off all criminal activities that fester in darkness.
