ASSIN S: DCE presents 37 motorbikes to Assembly members

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Assin South in the Central Region, Felicia Ntrakwa Amissah has urged Assembly members in the area to priorities the development of their respective Electoral Areas over their personal gains.

The DCE said this when presenting some 37 motorbikes to Assembly members and government appointees in the district to assist them in the discharge of their official duties.

Speaking to the Media after the Presentation, the DCE admonished the Assemblymen to be agents of development in their respective communities since it is the reason they were voted for.

She urged them to use the motorbikes judiciously to achieve their intended purpose and also refrain from selling or using them for commercial purpose.

Receiving the motorbikes on behalf of the Assembly members, the Presiding Members of the Assembly Mr Emmanuel J.K Boadi, thanked the President and the DCE for the gesture.

He pledged that they will adopt a maintenance culture to ensure their longevity.

He also pleaded with the President Akufo-Addo to aid the Assembly Members with cars to help them discharge their duties effectively.
