The support initiative, led by District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Godwin Bobobee, aims to improve farm productivity, enhance soil fertility, and strengthen the livelihoods of local farming families.
The distribution comprised 800 bags of NPK fertilizer and 500 bags of Urea. A total of 315 male and 105 female farmers received the essential inputs, demonstrating the Assembly’s inclusive approach to empowering both men and women in the agricultural sector.
Access to quality fertilizer plays a critical role in replenishing soil nutrients, ensuring healthy crop development, and boosting overall crop yields. By facilitating direct access to these inputs, the Asuogyaman District Assembly is taking concrete steps to tackle food insecurity and drive economic growth across the district.
Speaking on the initiative, local authorities reiterated Hon. Bobobee’s ongoing commitment to delivering targeted interventions that build a sustainable agricultural sector and create lasting economic opportunities for farming communities.
