Sefwi Bekwai Area donates to health facilities, security institutions

The Sefwi Bekwai Area of the Church of Pentecost in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso -Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region has donated a number of items to health facilities and security institutions within the Area.

The items which included Hand sanitizers, floor cleaners, bleach, and tissues were presented at different centres to the Bibiani Municipal Hospital, the DAK Medical Centre, the Anhwiaso Health Centre, the Bibiani and Sefwi Bekwai District Police Commands.

This was in addition to presentations earlier made to health institutions in Sefwi Bekwai.

Presenting the items, the Area Head, Aps Vincent Anane Denteh said that it was the duty of the Church to show it cares for the health workers and security personnel who are serving as the frontline workers in the war against the novel corona virus pandemic (COVID-19).

He reiterated the need for all to rely on Christ in these critical times as the efforts of man can only achieve so much.

He further tasked the beneficiary institutions to put the items in judicious use as the nation is step up efforts to curtail the spread of the novel corona virus pandemic.

Receiving the items, the Clinical Coordinator of the Bibiani Municipal Hospital, Dr Ernest Mantey expressed their profound joy and gratitude for the items and said that it was timely donation that will go a long way to boost their preparedness to for the fight, and urged other institutions to emulate the sterling efforts of the Church of Pentecost.
