Suhum MCE celebrates birthday with children of Jehovah Rapha school complex

The Suhum Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Mrs. Margaret Darko Darkwah has donated food items and an amount of money to children of Jehovah Rapha School Complex in the Suhum municipality.

The donation forms part of the MCE’s activities to celebrate her birthday. Items presented to the children’s home included bags of rice, soft drinks, biscuits, cooking oil and an amount of two hundred Ghana cedis (GHC 200).

Delivering the items to the management of the school, Madam Margaret Darko Darkwa said that it is a privilege to have another year added to her years, hence the need to thank the Almighty God for His grace and protection. She said that God commands that, as humans, we share what we have with the less privileged in the society.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the headmaster, Mr. V.C Ofori, expressed his gratitude and appreciation towards the MCE. He said that this kind gesture by the MCE would never be forgotten.

The chaplain of the school, together with the children, prayed and asked for God’s blessings over the life of Hon. Mrs. Margaret Darko Darkwa.
