JUABEN: Vice President commissions 6 unit classroom block
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has commissioned a six unit classroom block and girls dormitory at Juaben Senior High School to provide accommodation space for the students.

Dr. Bawumia also inspected work at Oil Mills Factory under the One District One Factory programme being constructed in Juaben in the Ashanti Region. Dr. Bawumia during his tour of the Municipality also attended a grand durbar of Chiefs and people of Juaben, where he interacted and discussed the vision of the New Patriotic Party for the next four years when given the nod.
The Vice President visit to Juaben formed a day three of his four day working tour to the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted on numerous policies and programmes rolled out by the Akufo-Addo government for the past three and a half years in power which gears towards the well-being of the people such as school feeding programme, One District One Factory (1D1F), restoration of the teacher trainees and nurses allowances, cocoa pollination, scholarship package for tertiary students, NABCO trainees, provision of an Ambulance per each district, free water supply and electricity and Free Senior High School policy which had brought employment and relief to parents and also helped people in various corners of the country.
He indicated that, Akufo-Addo’s government has transformed Ghana into an economy and good livelihood that Ghanaians wanted. The Free Senior High School policy has reduced the financial burden that parents had to struggle in paying tuition fess of their wards.
Dr. Bawumia urged the good people of Juaben Constituency to massively vote for Nana Akufo-Addo and the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Juaben Constituency Hon. Ama Pomaah Boateng to enable them to complete the development projects already started in the Constituency, since National Democratic Congress (NDC) has nothing to offer them.
He said, the NDC government will collapse the Free Senior High School policy and bring back errapic power supply, known in local parlance as dumsor again if Ghanaians mistakenly give them another opportunity, he stressed.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, Ashanti Regional Chairman of NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi and host of others.
In his welcome remarks, Daasebre Otuo Siribour ll, the Paramount Chief of Juaben Traditional Area, who doubles as the Chairman of the Council of State, commended President Akufo-Addo for his unprecedented achievement within the period of three and a half years in government.
Touching on the development of Juaben Municipality, Daasebre Siribour ll, praised President Akufo-Addo on his appointment to serve as the Chairman of Council of State in his government, creation of Juaben Municipality from Ejusu Municipality, ongoing construction of an ultra-modern Administration block for Juaben Municipal Assembly, construction of Juaben town roads, Construction of Circuit court, ongoing construction of Astro Turf (an artificial pitch for sporting activities), construction of 6 unit classroom block and girls dormitory at Juaben Senior High School among others.
He hinted that, the development of Juaben is more accelerated when NPP is in power as such urged the constituents to renew the mandate of the Nana Akufo-Addo and Ama Pomaah Boateng come December 7 to continue with the good works.
Daasebre assured the Vice President for an overwhelming victory for Nana Akufo-Addo, come December 7 elections to grant him (Nana Addo) another four year term to transform the country.
