Parliamentary candidate for Bibiani supports five communities with boreholes

The Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng has begun the construction of mechanized borehole water projects in five communities within his Constituency.

The beneficiary communities included Dominibo No 1, Dominibo No 2, Nambro, Kojina/Subri Nkwanta, and Fahiakobo.

He said the project was in response to the request from the people who are facing water challenges in the constituency.

The PC who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Approaches Group of Companies stated that the objective behind these water projects is to help solve the water problems in their respective communities.

He hinted that the project will soon be extended to cover several communities, is part of his continuous effort towards complimenting the government in its ‘Water-for-all’ project aimed at providing adequate and potable water supply for the people of Ghana, particularly the Western North Region.

The beneficiary communities lauded Mr. Obeng Boateng for his quick response to solve their water problem and pledged to give him massive votes come 2020 general elections to become their next Member of Parliament for the Constituency in order to continue his good vision for the area.

In a related development, the Parliamentary Candidate had helped the Constituency and Western North Region as a whole in diverse ways including purchasing of brand new Nissan 4x4 pick-ups for Bibiani, Sefwi Bekwai and Sefwi Wiawso police division to enable their daily activities, procured of 100 KVA generator set worth over 1.7 billion old Ghana cedis and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE’s) to Bibiani Government Hospital, donation of sewing machines to apprentices’, financial support to aged, engagement of about three hundred youth into a skills training and financial support for brilliant but needy students and several other supports.
