The Second Cycle of the Kumasi C/CAN Initiative commences
The Second Cycle of the Kumasi City Cancer Challenge (C/CAN) Initiative has commenced with the assurance of improved access to cancer care, enhanced quality-of-service delivery, speedy delivery, and maintenance of equipment.

At the launch of the second cycle event, which drew stakeholders, including health professionals, Kumasi City Authorities, and participating institutions, Mr. Abubakari Jaliu, City Manager of Kumasi C/CAN Initiative, highlighted the success of the first cycle, and commended stakeholders for their dedicated spirit.
Mr. Francis Dwira Darko the Metro Coordinating Director said, the Kumasi City Authority, supported by the MoH, established the City Executive Committee (CEC) chaired by the Mayor saw the Kumasi C/CAN Initiative in February 2018 being launched.
He praised the CEC, the participating health institutions, and other stakeholders for their roles, which resulted in successful validation and endorsement for the second cycle.
