He told an assembly meeting that some banks, including Zenith, Amal and UBA, were being persuaded to establish branches to create bigger capital markets in the area.
Mr Ganyaglo consequently urged land owners to be ready to release land to investors.
He said Christian Revival Africa, a business concern, had submitted a business plan to invest in lake transportation and tourism in the district.
The company is interested in building chalets and operating pleasure boats along the Volta Lake.
The district is in the process of reaching some understanding with the Metro TV to extend its transmission to the area.
Mr Ganyaglo said the Ghana Water Company has also assured that a proposed project to draw and process water from the lake at Kpando-Tokor for distribution to Kpando and its environs would come on board soon.
The district, one of the 50 listed to benefit from the District Development Fund, would use its share of 489,000 dollars to construct a slaughter house and upgrade the meat shop, pave the Kpando Lorry Park and Taxi Terminal.
Other projects lined up under the project include the rehabilitation of the Kpando-Torkor Market, desks for kindergarten schools, acquisition of motor bikes for the assembly and the rehabilitation of the assembly's offices.
