Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr. Fummey disclosed that the interventions form part of efforts to address infrastructural and social challenges confronting communities in the area.

He explained that during his early days in office, he toured several communities to engage residents and better understand their needs, which revealed significant gaps in basic amenities.

Mr. Fummey expressed satisfaction with the successful completion of the projects, noting that they reflect the municipality’s progress towards development.

He emphasized that the provision of the classroom block will enhance teaching and learning, while the borehole facilities will ensure access to clean and safe drinking water, thereby promoting good health and hygiene.
