Nsawam Adoagyiri MCE Hands Over 1,600 Desks to St. Martins SHS

The Municipal Chief Executive for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Hon. Philibert Selorm Fummey, has handed over 1,600 brand new desks to St. Martins Senior High School as part of efforts to improve teaching and learning conditions in the municipality.

The intervention, supported by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), is aimed at addressing furniture deficits and enhancing the overall learning environment for students.

The gesture forms part of a broader initiative by the Assembly to tackle infrastructure challenges confronting educational institutions within the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.

Speaking at a brief ceremony held on the school premises, Hon. Fummey emphasized the importance of investing in education, noting that the future of the country depends on the youth. He stressed the need for pragmatic measures to ensure that education remains affordable, accessible, and of high quality.

He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting quality education across the municipality, while commending GETFund for its continuous support in improving educational infrastructure and advancing academic excellence nationwide.
