Mr. Quattara secured all 44 votes cast by Assembly Members in an election conducted and supervised by the Electoral Commission at Dormaa-Ahenkro, the municipal capital.

The confirmation exercise, which followed the President's nomination of Mr. Quattara for a second term in office, reflected the confidence Assembly Members had in his leadership and commitment to the development of the municipality.

Addressing the Assembly after the confirmation, Mr. Quattara expressed appreciation to the Assembly Members, traditional authorities and stakeholders for the trust reposed in him and pledged to work collaboratively to accelerate socio-economic development across the municipality.

The Bono Regional Minister, Madam Justina Owusu-Banahene, congratulated the Assembly for the peaceful conduct of the exercise and urged the MCE to strengthen partnerships with Assembly Members, traditional leaders and development partners to improve service delivery and infrastructure development.

She also encouraged the Assembly to remain united in pursuit of the municipality's development agenda and support initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and expanding economic opportunities for residents.

The Dormaa Central Municipality remains one of the leading commercial and agricultural hubs in the Bono Region, with authorities expressing optimism that the renewed mandate would further accelerate development interventions in education, healthcare, agriculture and road infrastructure.
