According to the former Assemblyman Tigo is the only network that works in Botoku but sometimes it takes two or three weeks before one receives call.
He further pointed out that the communication mast system is not working because it is not well structured and, “we are denied communications and I have told the Assembly to come and improve on the situation for us”.
In an interview Dickson Emil Appiah noted that when MTN mobile money is sent to someone at Botoku he or she has to go as far as Vakpo to withdraw the mobile money and travelling all the way is making life unbearable for them.
He further pointed out that chiefs and elders of Botoku have gone to the District Chief Executive to complain and the response they got was that the situation would be taken care of.
