Okaikoi South MP donates to basic schools

The Member of Parliament for Okaikoi South Constituency, Darkoa Newman has donated some educational materials worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to some selected schools in her constituency.

The items include; school uniforms, maths sets, pencils, chalk, pencil cases, hand sanitizers among others.

The beneficiary schools include; Awudome 1 JHS, Awudome 3 JHS, Kaneshie Kingsway 1 & 2 Basic, Kaneshie 1 JHS, Kaneshie 1 primary, Bubuashie 2 Primary, Cable and Wireless Primary and JHS, Kaneshie North 3.

Speaking in an interview after her presentation, the newly elected MP for the constituency urged the school pupils to take their studies seriously in order to pass their examinations to become better persons in future.

She reiterated government’s readiness to also assist them with all the necessary infrastructure and materials needed to support their learning.

She concluded by calling for strictly adherence to all COVID-19 protocols in order to protect themselves and their families.
