Fanteakwa to have MASLOC office soon

Mr Charles Oware -Tweneboah, the District Chief Executive of the Fanteakwa in the Eastern Region said efforts at establishing Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) in the district is still in course following some bolds steps taken in that direction.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE said the assembly has secured office for MASLOC within the market premises and has done the necessary works on the structure.

According to him, officials have already declared the office suitable for the intended purpose, so soon the office will be opened for people to access for their loans.

“We are only waiting for instructions from the regional office to put the office into use. We have also submitted two names for manager and deputy who will be in charge of the running of the office”, he stated.

He noted that bringing the office of MASLOC close to the people will make accessibility for those who intend to benefit from their loan schemes to do that with ease without the usually bureaucracy that existed in the past.
