Fomena constituency holds Parlimentary debate

The Adansi North District Director for National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Ms. Linda Agyenim Boateng has beseeched electorates and parliamentary candidates to take serious the parliamentary debate which the NCCE organizes every election year.

Ms. Agyenim Boateng said this at this years parliamentary candidates debate organized for the Fomena Constituency. She stressed that, the debate allows electorates to make informed decisioin with regards to voting.

The parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ms. Christina Ama Ranson said, she would use her share of the MP’s common fund to procure equipment and machines for vocational institutions in her constituency to enable students acquire the requisite knowledge and skills to empower them as entrepreneurs by the time they complete school.


The parliamentary candidates for Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Mr. Eric Appiagyei reveals that, the GUM party would restructure the country’s educational system to focus on skill training and adopt the use of local dialects to teach in the schools.

Candidates addressed issues on Health, Education and Agriculture.

The NDC and GUM parliamentary candidates were present for the debate whiles the New Patriotic Party and the Independent candidates were absent.
