Fomena Constituency in election 2020
Honourable Andrews Amoako Asiamah has won the Fomena Constituency parliamentary elections in the just ended 2020 general elections.

Mr. Asiamah won with 12,805 votes out of the 26,637 total votes cast in the parliamentary elections.
Hon. Amoako Asiamah was the Member of Parliament for the Fomena Constituency on the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) ticket until he withdrew from the NPP primaries and stood as an Independent candidate for the 2020 parliamentary elections and won.
Elections in the Fomena Constituency were generally peaceful as armed security personnel patrolled the constituency.
However, the office of the Electoral Commission in the Constituency was on fire destroying several equipments and documents.
The Adansi North Fire Service is yet to ascertain and announce the cause of the fire.
