JIRAPA: MCE urges adherence to COVID-19 directives and strategies - MCE
As the Jirapa Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region instituted measures to combat the spread of COVID-19, the Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Madam Christine Bonbanye- Amadu has called on the people to adhere to the directives and strategies outlined by the President of the Republic to fight the virus.

The MCE advised the communities when the Assembly took it turns to distribute some items like nose masks, hands sanitizers, tissue papers, Veronica buckets, liquid soaps among others that will help them fight the Virus in the Municipality.
Madam Christine urged the residents to stay safe by staying at home, strictly observing Social distancing guild lines, and frequently wash their hands with soap for at least 40 seconds.
Madam Christine Bonbanye-Amadu, when speaking with Ghanadistricts.com yesterday, appealed to some organisations, individuals and NGOs to assist the Assembly to be well prepared to handle the pandemic, considering the fact that, the Municipal is one of the biggest municipal in the region and as also close to some borders making it prone to the infectious disease.
