Adansi North District to benefit from 1D1F

Adansi Asokwa, a community in the Adansi North District in the Ashanti Region is to benefit from “one district, one factory” government policy.

Disclosing this at a youth summit held at the forecourt of the Assembly, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Eric Kwaku Kusi said that a brick and tile company called Anorich is being supported by the government to increase its capacity, adding that the company currently has 20 employees and the government is putting some measures in place to increase its employees from 20 to 200 in about six months’ time.



Mr. Kusi noted that it will help create employment and job opportunities for the youth in the district, adding that: “it does not matter if you don’t get employed at the company directly, but it will create job opportunities around the company where one could sell even sachet water and it will be patronised.”

He also touched and highlighted on all areas of the government policies and encouraged the youth to get involve in the Agriculture sector especially in the areas of the “planting for food and jobs” policy which he noted that 500.000 cocoa seedlings, 200.00 palm seedlings have been made available for farmers for free.




The DCE also entreated the youth to keep supporting the government to implement its policies because there is hope for them.
