AYENSUANO: More communities to benefit from boreholes – DCE

One cannot talk about ensuring good health without considering access to potable water.

It is for this reason that the Ayensuano District Assembly has prioritized drilling boreholes in various communities to ensure residents do not struggle in getting potable water.

Through the support from the Regional Coordinating Council, the Assembly has drilled 10 boreholes this year at various locations, the District Chief Executive, Josephine Awuku Inkoom has said.

However, procurement processes are currently ongoing for the second phase of the project to commence.

She said it is their hope as leaders to ensure all communities are properly served with potable water as such they would continue to work towards achieving that with the availability of funds .
