TANO N: MP cuts sod for multi-purpose facility for Yamfo Vocational Training Institute

A sod-cutting for construction of a multi-purpose facility at Yamfo Vocational Training Institute under the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) has taken place in the Tano North constituency by the Member of Parliament, Freda Prempeh.

This Facility, when completed will include new Information and Communications Technology Lab, two new classroom blocks, one new administration block with library and storage, 100 capacity male hostel facility, 100 capacity female hostel facility, and one new workshop.

The rest are refurbishment of the old ICT lab, refurbishment of the old classroom block and refurbishment of the old workshop facility.

‘’The construction logistics, the entity that was awarded the contract is expected to complete these facilities in a period of 12 months’’, she stated.

The occasion was graced by the delegation from Yamfo Traditional Council namely Benkumhene of YAMFO traditional Council. Samaahene of Yamfo Traditional Council and Kyidomhene of Yamfo Traditional Council.
