This very important meeting brought all the shareholders of the health sector together at the conference hall of the Kintampo Health Research Centre.

The Municipal Health Director Dr. Collins Boateng Danquah in his address gave update on the covid-19 in the Municipality between January 2022 and June 2022, which the Municipality recorded 44 cases, with the breakdown as; 36 fully vaccinated and had mild form of Covid-19, 6 partially vaccinated, 2 not vaccinated and all 44 discharged are at home management.

He said, “Our job is to assist in the delivery of quality health care for the people of Kintampo” so all stakeholders can help put all hands on deck to improve the quality of health services which we are all looking for.'' 

Dr. Boateng used the occasion to call on citizens of Kintampo Municipality to take challenges of Infrastructural development of health facilities in their communities and to affix their names on such projects for the improvement of the health sector infrastructure.

He also called on institutions, private facilities and organizations to identify communities of their choice, adopt them and begin to play critical roles in health service delivery in such communities “for that I believe we will be contributing towards meeting the mission and vision of Kintampo Municipal Health Directorate.''

Power point presentations were made by other health care facilities in the Municipality, such as the District Health Insurance. The Kintampo Municipal Health Directorate presented a holistic presentation of the whole Municipal Health directorate and, the Kintampo Health Research Centre also presented a community based health planning and services, a mixed method study on Hypertension in some communities in the Municipality.
