EJURA: MCE sets up a COVID-19 fund with a seed capital of GH?10, 000.00

In addition to the many interventions rolled out in the fight against the Corona Virus disease in the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality, the Municipal Chief Executive of the area Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba has set up a COVID-19 fund with a seed capital of GH ?10, 000.00 to curb the pandemic.

According to the MCE, a Nine- Member Committee consisting of Nana Sarfo K. Okofobour representing the Ejura Traditional Council, Mr. Dangeh Ebenezer a representative from Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly, Mr. Paul Kwame Yartel from the Private-led Business Sector, Sheikh Mansoor Bamba the Zango Chief Imam, Mr. O.K. Gyasi from Anyinaso Traditional Council.

The rest are Mr. Rabiu Mutawaki Zango Chief, Rev. Akrasi Samuel representing the Council of Churches and Mr. Courage Anku of the Municipal Health Directorate has been inaugurated.



He indicated that the fund will help to augment the already existing measures to ensure the total safety of the people and help the Municipality to record zero cases in relation to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

He then called on the citizenry to also contribute towards the sustenance of the fund.
