West Akim Assembly provides startup kits for 5 youth
West Akim Municipal Assembly in the Eastern region has provided startup kits to some five (5) persons who had undergone a Two-year (2) full time training under the Facility in metal machinery and Metal fabrication in the area.

Items presented include welding machines, electrodes, grinding machines, files, bench vice among others.
At a short presentation ceremony, Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Mr Seth Oduro Boadu ceased the opportunity to educate the youth about career opportunities at the Rural Enterprise Facility (RTF) and advised them to partake in such important trainings.
“Since my first year in office I have taken it upon myself to sensitize the youth within the municipality and educated them on the career opportunities at the Rural Enterprise Facility (RTF) and advised them to partake in their training”, the MCE stated.
He was optimistic that the presentation will help encourage other youth within the municipality to take up a career for their own future in order to be economically independent.
He also encouraged the beneficiaries to be sincere and discipline in their work and always remember to serve as ambassadors of the program. He also urged them to use the startup kits given for their intended purpose.
He lauded President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for his support and determination to create necessary avenues for Ghanaians especially, the youth to be self-reliant by providing jobs in every district of the country.
