It is the first project awarded by the Hon. MCE since he took over office. The project, which is from District Development Fund(DDF) has reached roofing and is waiting for plastering, fixing of windows, doors and painting to be done after one month and two weeks of work.

The demand for a new structure came as a result of multiple defects of an old school block constructed by the Community.

This project was part of the Municipal Assembly 2020 action plan and was reviewed for 2021 action plan of the Municipal Assembly. It will be recalled that this project has been in the media for various reasons at that time.

Mr. Soyiri, who served as a member of the Jirapa Municipal Assembly, after assuming office as the Municipal Chief Executive and spending barely two weeks in office, proceeded to release funds for the project.

His visit at the project site to assess the progress of work by himself received recommendations from community members and Teachers who were present. He was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director and some Senior Staffs in the Municipality.

Mr. Nicholas Soyiri after inspection of the project, expressed satisfaction about progress of work, and thanked the Assembly Member, Community Leaders, and Teachers for their cooperation and support to bring the project to that stage of development.
