According to him, not all health problems manifest so easily with symptoms for one to easily say I have problem, adding there are ailments that are silent killers and it will take professionals to detect.
The DCE, Augustine Appiah made this comments when he collaborated with the Ghana Health Service and carried out free health screening for the people of Worenja and its environs.
The main motive behind the screening was to create awareness of HIV and other diseases such as diabetes, hypertension among others and help the people know their status.
Mr. Appiah therefore urged the people to make regular medical check-up part of their life help know their health status and be able to take precautionary measures, seek treatment and stay healthy as required, for them to continue their daily activities.
Good health, he noted, is very important to socio-economic development because people can only give off their best at their work places when they are in good health. More so, such practices save money for the family and the nation at large because sicknesses are prevented instead of spending so much to cure them.
