The MCE was accompanied by some staff of the Assembly and some journalists to inspect such projects.

The visit was to acquaint himself with the progress made in the construction of these projects.

He and his entourage visited a newly office complex for the National Health Insurance Authority at Axim where the construction of the facility is progressing steadily.

From there, the MCE moved to Anto-Apewosika community where an ultra-modern 32-seater toilet facility is being constructed for residents in the community.

The contractor who is constructing the toilet facility, Mr Frank Amponsah indicated to the MCE that the project would be completed by the end of May 2021.

He then proceeded to Avrebo community, where an 8-kilometre road is also being constructed on the Avrebo-Ahunyame-Adelekazo stretch.

The road which serves the three communities was in a very deplorable state and was lobbied through the hardwork and collaborative efforts of Mrs. Catherine Abelema Afeku, the former Member of Parliament of Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira Constituency and Hon. Frank Okpenyen, the current MCE.

Speaking to this reporter after the inspection, the MCE Frank Okpenyen thanked the various contractors for the work done so far and tasked them to complete them on time.

He, therefore, took the opportunity to explain that the projects were started under the first term of President Akufo-Addo's government and that he was inspecting them to get first hand information on the progress of the projects.

He also expressed satisfaction at the fast-paced development of these three projects and expects them to be completed soon.
Mr. Frank Okpenyen promised the media that he would work hard to complete all the ongoing projects.

He seizes the opportunity to call on the residents of the Nzema East Municipality to rally behind President Akufo-Addo and prayed for President Akufo-Addo to develop the country.
