The 15 year old boy who was shot in the head is currently at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital responding to treatment.

The Municipal Security Council and some police personnel from the regional police headquarters visited the crime scene this morning for first hand information, and the police have assured to bring the culprits to book.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Alidu Seidu has expressed delightthat the boy was responding to treatement adding that the doctors were going to conduct computerized tomography (CT) scan to determine the extent of damage and proceed from there.

He expressed confidence in the police to get to the bottom of the issue and bring the perpetrators to book.

He disclosed that the immediate proposal is to put a temporal ban on all celebrations in connection with Eid al-Fitr and work to bring finality to the issue.
