The MCE who was speaking at the first annual delegates conference since the party won power noted that if some reforms are carried out, the party will be in power for the next 30 years to come.

According to him, as part of the reforms, chairmen should not be in charge of party album because it will be possible for them to do anything possible to win or rig the elections. “They can decide to register for of their followers than their opponents”, and this will be conflict of interests. So he believes that the best way to minimize that such conflict will be to take the control of party albulms from them.

Some of the chairmen even go further to abuse that executive power and think whatever they say is final. This can give everybody a level playing field, a fair playing ground for everybody. So even if one losses an election, there would be peace and unity in the party. But if one realizes that the winner won through putting up the album the loser can decide not to sponsore activities of the party”, he stated.

Secondly, the party should review the power of the chairmen. He also warned against formation of political groupings in the party as that may hinder progress.

Meanwhile, he stated that the MASLOC money is ready for use, and will be disbursed when the office to be used is completed.
The Constituency Secretary Mr. Aickons Shamo on his part proposed that the constituency should be divided into two base on the current membership of the party. He lament on how some youth are already disappointed on their campaign promises.

He appealed to the party through the acting regional chairman madam Esther Agyenim to help build a constituency office and a party vehicle since this is making their work difficult.
