S TONGU: DCE donates to flood victims

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of South Tongu Mr. Emmanuel Agama with the District Disaster Management Committee has presented some relief items to communities that were flooded recently in the district.

Items such as rice, cooking oil, mosquito coils among others were given to the flood victims by the team and also inspected the affected areas.

In a brief message to the victims, the DCE assured them that the exercise is a temporary measure as the Assembly is putting together a comprehensive planning strategy to reduce disaster.



The leadership of Tongu students and Associates on behalf of the beneficiaries thanked the Assembly for the quick intervention.
