Nkoranza S: MCE accounts for her stewardship
As President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo has always said, "there should be deeper transparency in the governance system in order for those in authority to effectively account to the people", the Nkoranza South Municipal Assembly has last week held its maiden meet the press series to account for the stewardship of the NPP government's three years in office.

The Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa said the Municipality has equally benefited from the national cake as disbursed by the central government.
She revealed that the assembly has as part of the one million dollars per constituency policy which is geared towards the IPEP has constructed numerous toilet facilities, boreholes, markets, among others which are widely spread across the municipality.
Madam Kusiwaa highlighted on other policies like the one district one factory, planting for export and rural development, nation-builders Corp, Planting for food and jobs which she revealed has created more employment for the youth of the area and Ghanaians at large.
She was quick to observe the impact the free senior high school has played in the development of education in the municipality as she charged the first batch of the free Senior high School beneficiaries to do the Akufo Addo led government a great honor by passing their pending West Africa Secondary School certificate examination with distinction to shame critics of the great policy Ghana has ever had.
She pleaded at the meeting that, the referendum on whether the election of MMDCE's scheduled for December 17th is not partisan but a process to deepen the democracy of the Republic where the citizenry will have the mandate to decide on who leads them as their chief executive.
MCE explained that, even though the Nkoranza South Municipality is not taking part in the district level elections, they will be part of the referendum, and called on each and everyone to play an active role in the campaign and also go out to massively vote ‘YES’ in support of the change.
