KKDA completes projects to ease access to education
The Kpone Katamanso Municipal Assembly has completed a number of social intervention projects to increase access to education.

They include a six unit two storey classroom block for the Kubekro basic school which hitherto was running in a wooden structure, furniture to most local schools, a school feeding kitchen at Ebenezar School at Sebrepor and a three unit two storey JHS block for Kpone Methodist school.
Mr Solomon Appiah, Municipal Chief Executive, was speaking at a parade mounted by basic and senior high schools to commemorate Ghana's sixty second independence anniversary at Kpone on the theme:"Celebrating peace and unity".
According to him, a number of projects were to be completed by end of 2019 and "will go a long way to improve the standard of living of the people as well as eliminate overcrowding in the classrooms."
He appealed for a united front in the nation's pursuit of solutions to her challenges.
"Let us challenge ourselves to be innovative through education particularly science education and research to find solutions for the benefits of our country,"
Mr Asigri Anaabu, Municipal Director of Education, called for the protection and reverence for Ghana’s nationhood.
"A price was paid for the establishment of our nation by our ancestors. We should unite and protect it for posterity," he said.
