Amanokrom gets new police station
The Akuapem North Municipal Assembly has commissioned and handed over the newly constructed police station at Amanokrom.

The Security Project which adds up to the number of existing Police stations in the Municipality was part of efforts to bring security to the doorstep of the people in maintaining law and order.
The move would enable the Police to respond swiftly and appropriately to protect life and property of the citizenry.
In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the Municipal Chief Executive and Chairman of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) Barima Awuah Sarpong Asiedu-Larbi re-emphasized the significance of the project and invoked the responsibility of citizens to cooperate and support the Police to discharge their constitutionally mandated duties.
Nananom of Amanokrom pledged their continuous support for the Police to protect his people and called on the citizenry to collaborate with the Police to ensure security in the area.
The Municipal Police Commander in the Municipality with Police Capos who represented the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr George Akufo Dampare noted that the Project would strengthen justice and security. A lot of measures have been established to curb Armed Robbery and other forms of crimes.
He, however, cautioned Chiefs and Opinion Leaders from unnecessary intervention and interference to promote Community Policing and beware of scammers/cybercrime/fraudsters. He advised Police Personnel posted to the area to ensure maintenance culture on the facility and discharge their duties with professionalism and best standard practice of the Service.
Present at the ceremony were Municipal Police Commander, MCE, Chiefs and Queens of Amanokrom, Former Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mr. Hackman Owusu Agyeman and the Assembly Member for Amanokrom electoral area.
