Don’t come here if our roads aren’t tarred –Danko Residents

Some Residents of Danko in the Wa Municipality in the Upper West Region have expressed sadness over the nature of their roads after several years of appeal.

Speaking to the Assembly Member of the Area, Hon. Adams Yahaya Jiga has indicated, he has appealed severally to the Wa Municipal Assembly to assist in getting the road fixed but to no avail.

“The road is bad, we struggle to transport pregnant women to the hospital, and sometimes vehicles splash muddy water on people”.

“With the nature of our road we are in distress. With this rainy season it’s likely to affect the road. If the road isn’t fixed, we won’t tolerate any leader here this year, they have worked on Charia and Jonga Road yet we are here they should fix it from Danko to Boli. They can leave it at Boli..” Mr. Adams added
