The game which is designed to get players to learn about the constitution even as they enjoyed it, attracted clubs from Krenkuase model `B` JHS, Zephonel Educational Complex JHS, Lemu SDA JHS and Kwame Danso Methodist JHS.

Welcoming participants, the district director of the Commission Mr. Suuk Y Cletus said Ghana’s Democratic path had been one of instability until the advent of the fourth republican constitution in 1992 and stressed the need for pupils to understand the constitution so they can defend it at all material times.

He said this is in line with the Commission’s theme for the year “Ghana future: Our collective responsibility”.

Zephonal Education Complex secured 36 points to place first whiles Kenkuase model `B` JHS garnered 33 to place second with Kwame Danso Methodist JHS and Lemu SDA JHS getting 21 and 18 points to place third and fourth respectively.

Participating schools received copies of the abridged version of the 1992 constitution. Clubs from Kwame Danso Presbyterian JHS, Nkwankwandua JHS and Kwame Danso D/A No. 1 JHS were at the venue to observe the competition.

Club patrons and pupils alike urged the Commission to make the game available to all schools to make for a quick understanding of the constitution and also asked for a regular organization of similar educative programmes.

Present were Messrs Williams Adjei, Faisal Salisu, Rockson Atinga, Anane Yaw, Amoah Martin and Joseph Antwi all patrons of the Civic Education Clubs.
