MCE Cuts Sod for Six-Unit Classroom Block at Asikasu

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben North, Honourable Samuel Adongo, has cut the sod for the construction of a six-unit classroom block with an office at the Asikasu Community Basic School.

In his remarks, Hon. Adongo stated that the project will create a more conducive learning environment and significantly improve educational infrastructure in the municipality. He noted that this development is expected to boost enrollment and enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the community.

The MCE emphasized that education is a fundamental pillar for individual and national development, reaffirming his commitment to expanding access to quality education within the municipality. He assured residents that providing and improving basic and secondary education remains a top priority for his administration.

The Dademants? of Asikasu, Samuel Komlom, expressed his delight at the commencement of the project. He highlighted that the new block will provide access to education for many children who are currently unable to enroll due to a lack of facilities.

Nana Komlom also made a special plea to the Municipal Assembly to name the school after his predecessor, the late Dadematse Dautey Padi Joseph. He further pledged his continuous support to the MCE’s administration and promised that the community would uphold a strong maintenance culture to preserve the new facility.
