Thirty(30) Apprentices receive start up Kits

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly has supported 30 Apprentices under the National Appretiship Programme.

Presenting the items, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon.Samuel Adongo asked the beneficiaries to use the tools and other equipment judiciously for the right purposes so that they would become economically empowered and financially independent.

He said this will go a long way in helping them contribute their quota to the Socio-Economic Development in their various communities.

The items distributed includes, 6 Electric Industrial Sewing Machines, 6 Neatting Machines and 30 Hand Sewing Machines.

The Eastern Regional Coordinator for the National Apprentiship Programme, Mr. Emmanuel Asante stated that ,the equipments and tools received will be closely monitored to ensure that they are used for it's intended purposes.

"This is to also make sure that Government's intention for supporting you will be materialized and woe to anyone found attempting to sell any of these equipments,will be dealt with according to the law",he stressed.

He assured the Beneficiaries that, working materials will be provided after their completion.He however urged them to be serious in whatever they are taught.

Madam Monica Tetteh on behalf of the Apprentices, thanked the Government and the MCE for their assistance, and pledged to use the tools judiciously.

Beneficiaries were drawn from Akwadum, Oyoko, Suhyen, Asokore, and Effiduase.
