Akwadum Highway Gets Major Facelift, MCE Leads Project

The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Adongo, was on the ground today leading a concerted effort to rehabilitate the dilapidated Akwadum Highway.

The project, which has mobilized municipal workers and resources, aims to address long-standing challenges on the crucial road, including potholes and poor drainage that have hampered travel and commerce.

Speaking directly at the worksite, Hon. Adongo emphasized the project's core mission of public service. "We are here to serve our people to make living standards better," he stated. "This will not only make the road motorable for drivers but also convenient for the citizenry as well," he stressed.

The improvement works are expected to significantly ease traffic flow, reduce vehicle damage, and improve safety for pedestrians and motorists alike. Local residents and commuters have expressed optimism, hoping the intervention will bring lasting relief to a major artery in the municipality.
