The market is funded by the Assembly would comprise a total of 40 stalls, stores, sheds, and cubicles.

Mr. Amoah said when the market is completed it would go a long way to improve the living conditions of the people as well as increase the Assembly's revenue.

The DCE said the completion of the market would also help relocate the traders currently selling on the streets.

Mr. Vincent Basoah, District Engineer, said the plan for the market had made provision for its future expansion.

He urged the community leaders not to allow people to encroach on the land earmarked for the market, but rather guard and protect it for future development.

He indicated that a kindergarten would be built near the market for the traders to send their children there while doing their businesses.

Mr. Basoah gave the assurance that the market would be completed within six months and called for community support and cooperation to ensure the completion of the market on schedule.

Nana Adjoa Mankrado V, Queen mother of Upper Inchaban, thanked the Assembly for the initiative and kind gesture showed the community.
