The project, when completed will help improve access to quality primary education and further address congestion in the school.

The project is expected to be funded through the Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common fund.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony in the community, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Mr Seth Antwi Boasiako noted that overcrowding in classrooms remained one of the major challenges with regards to basic education, especially in the rural communities.

He however, assured that the Assembly is not relenting on its promise to ensure that quality education is made available to all citizenry of school going age.

The MCE was of the view that access to quality education is fundamental to nation building as it always has positive impacts on economic growth and our future as a people.

He therefore urged the community to rally behind the Assembly and the government for that matter to be able to carry out its numerous projects and programme to the benefit of the people.
