Mr. Joseph Nyarni Stephen has been appointed the MC in the latest appointments by the President Nana Akufo Addo.

This is the second batch of appointments of MMDCs after the nominations of 4 persons for the Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and Sekondi-Trakoradi Metropolitan Assemblies who have so far been confirmed by their respective assemblies.

The list of 212 persons concludes the 216 MMDCEs that have to be appointed.

There has so far not been any objections over the appointment of Mr. Joseph Nyarni Stephen and the hope is that the assembly members who are vested with the mandate to approve his nomination through a two-third majority votes, will do that when the times comes.
