Her name formed part of a tall list of the remaining Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives that was released through the Ministry of Local Government and rural development in Accra today.

The nominee may however face stiffness in getting her appointment approved as some angry members of the New Patriotic Party had earlier threatened to resist any other appointment apart from their favorite man for the job, one Patrick Ayamba, a popular businessman and Assembly Member for Teshie Electoral Area in the district.

The angry supporters on Tuesday evening vandalized their party office at Zebilla, the district capital as ways of registering their displeasure.
