Minister presents 18 motorbikes to Assembly Members

The Savannah Regional Minister, Mr Saeed Muhazu Jibril has presented eighteen (18) motorbikes to Assembly members in the the West Gonja Municipality.

Presenting the motorbikes, Mr Saeed Muhazu Jibril reiterated government's commitment towards the smooth running of the day to day activities of the West Gonja Municipal Assembly.

According to him, this is the second time government is providing motorbikes to Assembly Members since the NPP took office in 2017.

After every Assembly elections, “government has made it a routine assignment to provide Assembly members both elected and appointed with motorbikes to facilitate their movement for the daily activities of the Assembly members.

In his brief remarks, the Presiding Member (PM) for the West Gonja Municipal Assembly, Mohammed Mumuni expressed appreciation to the Akufo-Addo-led NPP government on his own behalf and on behalf of the Assembly members for the intervention since it will help them carry out their day to day activities with ease.

He also pleaded with government to try as much as possible to register the motorbikes for them to avoid traffic rule violations.

The Savannah Regional Minister and acting MCE for West Gonja Municipal Assembly in his response assured the Presiding member and the entire Assembly members that, it will be tabled in their next general assembly meetings for consideration.
