The purpose was to officially usher the KG 1 students into their respective classes and also to monitor the president’s directives on protocols on the covid-19 pandemic.

The team comprised of the District Coordinating Director who stood in for the DCE (Mr. Ferkah Charles) and others as well as a team from the District Education Office firstly visited Morle D/A and then proceeded to Morle Presbyterian KG where the Coordinating Director and his team distributed to the students soft drinks, biscuits, hand sanitizer, and nose mask.

The team from there moved to Sampa Methodist KG through to Madrasatu Islamic KG to SDA KG and ended up at Sampa Presbyterian KG.

All the schools visited received the same items.

In a speech delivered by the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Ferkah stated the need for the visit and advised the pupils to learn hard for them but to become useful in the country and for their district.

OBSERVATION:
It was observed in the various schools visited with the exception of Sampa SDA that none of them were obeying the covid-19 protocols, thus wearing a nose mask, frequent washing, and sanitizing their hands.

Some students were also spotted sitting on the floor at Morle Presbyterian KG, and according to the headmaster the school lacks furniture, and that has been their biggest problem although they are occupying a new building.

CAUTIOUS: The Coordinating Director, Mr. Charles Ferkah however warned the authorities of the schools to enforce the wearing of the nose mask and frequent observation of the covid-19 protocols of the students.
