Key among the achievements is the construction and commissioning of a 1-unit CHPS compound with water and electricity facilities at Anwiawia, strengthening primary healthcare delivery at the community level.

In the education sector, the Assembly also constructed and commissioned a 2-unit Kindergarten (KG) block with a changing room at Akwaboso, as part of efforts to improve early childhood education infrastructure.

To support academic performance, a total of 1,800 mathematical sets were supplied and distributed to BECE candidates across the district. In addition, 300 dual desks and 120 hexagonal desks were provided to selected schools to enhance teaching and learning conditions.

In the agricultural sector, the Assembly distributed 10,000 coconut seedlings to 106 farmers and also supplied 1,600 bags of fertilizer to 150 farmers to boost agricultural productivity and income generation.

On infrastructure development, about 35 kilometres of selected feeder roads were reshaped to improve accessibility and facilitate the movement of goods and people, particularly in farming communities.

To enhance security and visibility, the Assembly supplied and distributed 180 streetlight bulbs across various communities in the district.

Furthermore, 250 bags of cement were distributed to support community-initiated projects, reinforcing the Assembly’s commitment to participatory development and community ownership.

The District Assembly noted that these interventions form part of its broader development agenda aimed at improving living conditions, boosting economic activities, and promoting sustainable development across all sectors.
