The District League Table is a simple ranking tool showing national progress toward delivering development across Ghana’s 216 Districts.
It rates the assemblies based on progress made in the provision of certain basic and critical social amenities that ensure their wellbeing and development.

The indicators include;

Education - District BECE pass rate
Sanitation - Community certification for Open Defecation Free
Rural Water - Coverage of rural water supply (in Districts with rural populations only)
Health - Skilled attendant at delivery
Security - Coverage of police services
Governance - FOAT Performance Measures Score.

DTL is making positive impact on the various assemblies since it provides details on performance level and informs of the areas that need improvement to meet aspirations of the people in the various MMDAs.

The result in the three assemblies therefore attest to the fact that authorities are taking positive lessons from the table and have done their homework resulting in the appreciation in their rankings.
