Effutu fire command receives firefighting suits, helmets

A Philanthropist, Mr. Francis Nii Kpani Addy, has presented some Firefighting Suits and Helmets to personnel of the Effutu fire station to fight against in the municipality.

Presenting the items to Management of the Effutu Station, Mr Addy noted that the gesture was not the first of its kind and that he and his partners would even donate more PPEs to support the Station in its next visit to motivate and enable the Personnel deliver on their firefighting mandate.

DOIII Kwesi Hughes, the Effutu Municipal Fire Commander, who received the items on behalf of the Service, expressed his gratitude to the Philanthropist for the timely gesture and added that the donated items will go a long way to augment the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs of the Personnel at the Station.

He also seized the moment to ask for more support in terms of firefighting ensembles and asked for God's blessings for the Philanthropist and his partners.

The firefighting ensemble items donated to the Effutu Command included thirty three (33) sets of firefighting suits, twenty eight (28) spare trousers and eight helmets.
