EMA holds site meeting with Prefos Limited

The Effutu Municipal Assembly has held a technical site inspection and meeting with construction firm, Prefos Limited to discuss issues on the management of problems emanating from the evacuation, installation and rehabilitation of a 33No. Streetlights at Winneba Phase 1 (UEW North Campus to Winneba Traffic Light).

The meeting which was well attended by the management of the Effutu Municipal Assembly and senior officials of Prefos Limited sought to iron out bottlenecks impeding the successful completion of the project including an addition of a control cubicle as well as addition of more wires and poles required to complete the project.

Briefing the meeting, the Project Engineer for Prefos Limited, Engineer Klenam Atipoe, noted that the emerging issues had brought about variations in the agreement that needed to be resolved to ensure the successful completion of the project.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Zubairu Kassim, led the team including the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr.Banini Dzorgbenyui Kwadwo and other senior management members of the Assembly to inspect the progress of work as well as explored means of resolving the issues to aid a successful completion of the project.

The MCE assured the group that the Assembly will do everything possible to provide the needed resources for the project to see the light of day.
