Court grants Sekondi -Takoradi MCE bail

The Sekondi - Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive, Abdul -Mumim Issah has been granted bail after being arrested by the police over a road traffic offense and alleged assault of a police officer.

He was arraigned before court today Friday, 4 February 2022.

The MCE was charged on three counts of assault of a public officer , offensive conduct conducive to breaches of the peace and disturbing the peace in the public place contrary to sections 205,207 and 298 respectively of the criminal and other offences Act of 1960, Act 29.

The court granted him a bail of GH?100,000 with one surety on one charge and self -recognizance bail on the other.
The case has been adjourned to March 17,2022.
