MP presents computers to ICT center at ASWAQ cluster of schools
The Member of Parliament for Wenchi has presented 10 sets of high-grade Dell Computers, UPS, Screen Projectors and other IT equipment to commission an ICT Centre for the ASWAQ cluster of schools in Wenchi.

The project was aimed at equipping students, pupils, teachers, and staff with the requisite knowledge and skills needed to compete with not only their colleague competitors but also open up employment avenues as an added advantage in the global technological space.
In his remarks to hand over the items, Prof George Gyan-Baffour said the move would help bridge the technology gap between our students and pupils in the locality and cities who sit for the same periodic/annual final examinations and other academic competitions.
The project was under the Ministry of Inner City & Zongo Development and technically supervised by the Ghana Investments Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC).
The Middle Zonal Manager of GIFEC Arnold Johnson for the Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo Regions took the gathering through the use of the equipment. He applauded the MP and MCE for using their positions to actualize the project.
The Council of Chiefs and elders led by the Zongo Chief Sariki Alhaji Mohammed Iddrisu noted that the creation of the Inner City and Zongo Development Ministry by the Akufo Addo - Bawumiah led government and the MP's gesture demonstrated a strong commitment to developing the Zongo community.
He further laid appeal for logistical support to furnish an existing building for clinic purposes.
